Hello Ms T Bone:
What good and loving advice you have given PeaceandJoy! I do agree with your thoughts on this.
PeaceandJoy, I wish you comfort. You won't suffer forever. Divorce is one of the hardest things I ever went thru'. But as wise Ms T Bone says, this pain won't be so tortuous forever.

Peace to all.

Just to clarify, I became muslim because I read the holy Quran and I studied it before I converted and i fell in love with the faith, although my ex-husband helped me to understand it, it was purely my choice and I did if of my own free will. I am since than divorced and I still have kept my faith not because of him, but because I love it. My ex-husband was not supportive of my faith even though he was supposed to be a so called"muslim". He made me feel bad for wearing the hijab or head covering, but thank God I am now free and I wear it again and I have found a good muslim man to marry who loves me for my goodness and loves me wearing the scarf. I am now very happy.
