What to do when Life is too Rushed and Busy
Does anyone feel like their lives never seem to slow down? It seems like the only time I find to relax is on the weekends, and that's when I do cleanups.
It's a vicious cycle.
Time Management? How can you manage your time when there isn't ENOUGH time to manage?
Between a full time job, home cleanups, making dinner,
and other obligations, there's hardly enough time to even get your thoughts together sometimes. And when things get really stressful -eg. at work, it always seems to boil over into my personal time making my 'things to do list' delayed.
I try to take as much of my 'free' time as possible and relax more, but it just doesn't seem to be enough.
and suggestions? comments on how you feel?

I feel your pain! I work full time, go to school part-time, and have a husband, two kids, pets, and a house! I'm exhausted just reading that sentence!
One thing that helped me in the past was this website: www.flylady.net She has some really good advice about time management in regards to housework, laundry, and personal enjoyment time. PLUS, she suffered from severe depression, so she can totally relate.
Just try to remember that if you don't schedule or make time for YOU then everything else will fall apart. You have to take care of you. Delegate if you have to (in fact, it's a good idea to do so!). Don't "should" on yourself about getting things done...or let others "should" on you either! And one more thing...say "No" if you have to...for your own best interest and piece of mind...and don't feel guilty about it!
Hang in there!
Blessings,
Dawn

A LOT going on than I do!!!!!!!!!!
I have the dog but not the kids LOL PLUS
you have a full time job and go to school part time? OMG HOW and WHEN do you find time to relax and reflect?
I am going to check out that website. I like the
name 'flylady' lol
I find that sleep is over-rated. LOL
Just kidding.
I take either one or two classes per semester online or at night (only one night per week)...plus my kids aren't small (21 this month and 11), so they can take care of SOME of their own needs!
Now my husband...he's another story! LOL
I hope you find some good info on in flylady. the FLY in flylady stands for Finally Loving Yourself...she is very positive. I don't participate regularly on there anymore (it's all free info - FYI), but once I established the habits...the ones that really helped me stuck with me and continue to help me stay (somewhat
) organized!
Hey - if you have to schedule an appointment with yourself for YOU-time...DO IT! And keep that appointment! You are important and you matter!
Hope you have a great day!

Hi Deb.
You have to go to work, but could you ask your family to help with housework. I remember when everyone had their chores. That was nice.
When I get to a point where I'm tired of cooking (usually in summer), I would cook enough food for about five days and heat it up. Nobody ever complained because it still tasted good.
