Is it the medicine or the anxiety?

I have started taking 2 antibiotics from the Doctor for infection. Plus a pill for my bladder spasums.

I have been afraid to take pills but once the pill doesnt hurt me i'm fine.

Yesterday i took my two antibiotic pills. Which was FLAGYL, DOXYCYCLINE, and OXYBUTYNIN(for bladder).

Before i took Flagyl i was a little worried that it would make my stoach hurt so i took Prilosec and it didint hurt my stomach.

The few hours later i took the Pill for my bladder and i was nervous it made me feel a little wierd and tired.

Then before bed i took Doxycycline and it hurt my stomach bad and made me shake.

Right now this morning i took Flagyl and ate before i took it and now my whole body wont stop shaking and i feel sick to my stomach a little with diarea and my body aches BUT yesterday i took this same pill with food like today and i took prilosec as well just like yesterday. and i feel so stressed out with all this medication and the way it makes me feel...

I hate taking all of these medicines so much. My stomach is weak and i have anxiety attacks with it.

The thing is i called the doctor and she said i NEED to take this medicine in order to get over the infection and get better. But i don't know if its just my nerves or the side effects of the pills. I feel sort of trappted because everyone looks at me like im crazy overreacting but right now i cant stop shaking and after taking the pill yesterday it didnt bother me but now its making me feel like my body is twitchy and weak and hurts.

So pleaes.. if anyone cna give me advise or know whats going on if they've taking this medicine or had the same problem please let me know and help me out.. i feel so stressed with this.

Another thing im concerned about is if Anxiety can cause pelvic pain and pain in your Urethra making it difficult to urinate?

I was giving medicine for bladder spasums but it doesnt seem to be working i have to wait and take it two times a day and its just driving me crazy with my urithra hurting...

I dont have a UTI my tests were all negatve. The pain is mostly in the Urethra and my doctor said to go to thrapy for it.

Is it true that anxiey causes that?

I have to be on these medications for 14 days..

I feel so stressed out i hate taking lots of medications because i have a fear of taking medicine and my anxiety kicks in the most there.

If anyone would like to talk to me through email or on yahoo messenger for support or advice or anything besides here please leave me a message on this site... I feel like im in a circle of fear and pain and i'm scared my body can't take all the stress from the pelvic urithra pain and the medicines hurting my stomach.

I cant get the doctor to change the medications because she will not see me until i am on antidepressants. And the stuff for my pelvic and urithra hurting isnt working that good so i dont know what to do... if anyone has had this problem wtih their Urethra and bladder/pelvis hurting please tell me what u do to stop it, its driving me crazy and making the anxeity even worse.

I know im just typing on and on but i'm extremely stressed, worried, and scared.

The pain with my Urethra , bladder, pelvis pain gets high then low. It feels like i have to go to the bathroom alot when it gets high in pain and i try to use the restroom but its hard to urinate..
Everytime i take Oxybutynin for my bladder pains it makes my right arm and leg feel really weak and strained for some reason.

I'v been to the doctor lots of times for this infection after the yeast infection. Being off and on antibiotics for about 3 or 4 weeks.. i feel beyond stressed out... she gave me a shot and said these anitibiotics should help me and im trying my best to take them. Its just so depressing that she wont see me back again when i am having probelms with the pain in my Urethra and Anxiety when i take the medication due to the stomach aches. .

If im typing some of the same things over and over im sorry i'm just stressed out sooo bad.... i cant relax. esp with the Urethra pain right now at the moment.

Hi lostgirl..out of curisoity, what is wrong with your bladder? I have a bladder disease ,(what a scary word huh?

)that makes me feel like I have a UTI, and I have the symptoms you talk about. It's called interstitial cysitis.
My dad took oxybutynin for his bladder and he said it made him very sleepy. I have known 2 people who took flagyl and both of them complained of feeling so very very very badly while on it. If I remember correctly they had alot of the symptoms your talking about. I'm sure it's just side effects of the meds. Try to get through it the best you can and tell yourself that as soon as your off of it all you will feel so much better. Feel free to private message me if you want to.
