I am so anxious today because of some stuff I need to take care of. I'm exhausted and spacey and fuzzy and I feel off balance.
Does anyone have anything that they do to feel more "stable" on their feet? I'm okay if I'm sitting or walking (in fact walking feels great), but I have the worst time standing still in someone's office, etc. And after a while, it upsets my tummy.
I also wake up with my tummy extremely tight.
This sucks. I have to sit in an all staff meeting and I don't know how I'm gonna do it!

When I'm having anxiety, even a little bit, I wake up with that stupid knot in my stomach every morning. It's like this constant reminder when I'm trying to forget how anxious I feel.
You WILL make it through the staff meeting. You sound just like me. Sounds like you get yourself ALL worked up and anxious just thinking about how anxious you might feel in a situation. That is the bane of my anxiety. If I could just stop "what-if"ing, I'd spend a LOT less time being anxious.
This is a good opportunity to practice positive thinking. Tell yourself over and over that you've sat in tons of meetings before and were just fine. You will be okay just like you always are. There's no danger. There's no emergency. You are a strong woman who has control over her thoughts.
