I wanted to share this special sermon with you all. It was taped from the last service that we attended on 2/6/10. I was so blessed by it and know you will be too.

The ending is especially wonderful, he goes over his 2/3/2 way he gets closer with the Lord.

Hi Shifrah, thanks for sharing that message. It especially blessed me since I missed coming to the service.

I pray that I can receive the blessing of a heart like that given to the tin man in the wizard of oz, courage like that given to the cowardly lion, and a brain like that given to the scarecrow. I really am ready to move to a much higher level in relating to the world around me and I can't stop soul-searching. I want more out of the rest of my life and I don't want to settle for less but I am afraid of the financial cost. Going to school for a professional degree seems like home for me but I don't have a yellow brick road to follow that I can see. Oh well, just wanted to get this out in the ether and see what others might think.

Ms Hopeful I'm so glad you got to listen to him! They are home schoolers as well to a large family and missionaries, too.

In reading the Bible every day last year, it has blessed me and helped me grow tremendously. It wasn't the exact formula that Pastor Steve suggests, but it was consistent. I also listen to praise music on a regular basis.

I really get inspired by this Pastor. I have been attending this church over 6 years now, I've never been inspired to this extent by any other pastor.

Topping this up again...it's a great sermon, especially the ending where he talks about his 232 system of getting closer to God.

I've been on this path for a while and reaping so many benefits!
