Going to have son's CT scan today

They're trying to find out the cause of the sensorineural hearing loss.

Anyone out there know how to read a CT scan? We're getting a CD but have to wait for the doctor to read it and so far that will be two weeks away.

I have hearing loss due to a fall when I was young. I think I had a CT scan. Is that a cat scan? If so then I have had one. I also had an MRI, and SPECT scan.

Yes they call it a cat scan. They didn't mention that he'd need an MRI but from what I have heard they often do both.
