Hi, I'm from Rochester, NY but have been living in Denmark for the past 14 years. I am here because I am suffering a lot with panick and dizzyness. I suffered with anxiety in the 80's, during puberty, found this program and got cured... and so I thought! I got anxious again in 2001 when I was in the middle of a marriage crisis and family illness. I bought the newest program - 15 week program, took some medication and after a while, got well again. Now, after almost 2 years feeling like this, and trying to ignore the symptoms I had a major breakdown 14 days ago. I was getting ready to go to work early in the morning, and had a major dizzy spell, panick attack with the "out of reality" feeling and diarrhea. I though I was gonna die. I couldn't walk because of the dizzyness, and went to my gen. pract. He put me on a sick leave - 14 days, and I started going to a psychologist. A week later, and not feeling better at all, I suddenly remebered that I might still have my 15 week program hidding somewhere in my apartment. To my surprise I found it. The tapes, workbook and even a book Lucinda wrote, which I had bought separetly - "From Panick to Power". I started reading the book, and immediately started laughing nd calming down. Reading about toher people's symptoms made me laughing, when you think that it's all in your head! I am still dizzy, but less now - before I couldn't even walk in my own home. I am not sure if the dizzyness, which is constant, is part of Labyrinthitis, or if it has something to do with the anxiety. I'd apprecciate it, if someone who's had constant dizzyness and got well, could tell me, that it is anxiety and not Labyrinthitis. I've been to a number of doctors, ear doctors, neurologists, who do not know why I, after 3 years still am dizzy.
I need help and support from all of you, because I live in Denmark and cannot call the 800 number for supprt - it doesn't work outside the US. My goal is to be able to fly home - Rochester NY, which I haven't been able to do because of the dizzyness and anxiety.

Hi :) Just want to let you know that yes I have experienced a lot of the dizziness with my anxiety.I really can relate to you.I would get that way in my house too.I had trouble being in my laundry room and in the shower.Needless to say I have overcome most of it through trusting in God.It only happens now in certain situations.Anxiety can certainly plat a lot of tricks on us.I wish you well.God bless you.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know I've had that alot too. My physical therapist told me when a person get tension in their neck and upper back it can cause it. She showed me ways to stretch the muscles in my neck and do some exercises and it has helped with that issue alot. Hope this helps! ;)

I have the same thing. About 6 weeks ago I started suffering from lightheadedness and palpitations. The lightheadedness has not gone away. The palpitations come and go. I am 40 years old and have never had an anxiety disorder in the past. The doctors and the therapist I started seeing are all baffled. Why at 40 would I all of a sudden experience anxiety? It's been really difficult to handle.
