anyone get diarrhea from lexapro and does it go away?

Hi all, I was wondering if diarrhea is a normal side effect from Lexapro. I just went up to 10 mg from 7.5 and the last few days I have had loose bowels and mucousy type diarrhea (sorry- if TMI). I am just hoping this is a regular side effect that will go away with time. Anyone have these experiences?

Yeah im currently wading off of my lexapro. I remember getting diarehha but it going away I am not sure of. This program is helping me so much and i hope that it is doing the same for you

I took Lexapro for awhile, and had diarrea, but it was due to stress as I had it before the med. Once I got the anxiety under control, the diarrea stopped even while on Lexapro. I do however remember severe backache oddly enough for the first day or two, but that could have been stress too.

Yes I had that in the start up phase. But after week 2 or 3 it went away and I havent had an issue with that since and I have been on it for over a year.
