This morning my mother passed away. I was with her. I was the only child in the emergency room. Yesterday I spent time with her as I have in the passed weeks. The last thing she said to me was "I'm glad you came, you made me laugh."

I am so sorry for your loss, Sweetie! I'm glad you were able to be with her, but can not imagine how difficult it was for you. I lost my mother 5 years ago when I was 27. It is absolutely devastating to lose your Mom, but it does become bearable with time. Please feel free to IM me if you want to talk/vent/anything. Again, I am so, so sorry for this loss.

Hugs, Tara

Dear Songwriter:
I am so sorry fo your loss! I understand the emptiness this can leave in us.
My brother that I was a 'caretaker' for died Sat. was a week ago. (On the 27th of June).

I know how much your mom meant to you.
And I know how it was to be there at her side.

I was the only one with my brother.
May the Lord comfort you, Songwriter!!
May you find peace in letting go.
My thoughts are there with you.
God bless.

Dear Songwriter,

I'm so terribly sorry for you! I pray God gives you the strength to handle your loss. That must be so hard.

I am also a songwriter though I have not written for some time due to the anxiety.

I'm sure your mother will be very proud of you.
My thoughts are with you.
Much love!

Hi Songwriter,

I am deeply sorry for the loss you are suffering. This a deep hurt, but I want you to think for a moment of your moms last words to you. "You made me laugh." In other words, you brought her joy. You brought her happiness. She loved you very much.

Stand on the hope of seeing her face again. Please accept my consoling embrace and friend ship. Songwriter, if God can turn this broken down, foul mouthed mechanic into a poet and songwriter, there is hope for everyone. I would like to share one of my poems with you:

There are actually 3 poems on this page. I pray they may be a source of comfort to you. My prayers go out to you and your family and for God's to wrap His loving arms around your whole family.

Please listen to My hiding place:

In all sincerity.

Songwriter and Cornflower -- I am so very sorry to hear this about both your losses. It's so very hard to lose someone in your family. I was with my mom when she died also, and although she couldn't speak I know she knew I was there with her. I hope you both find comfort in the coming days. In time the sadness and grief will lessen, and fond good memories will take their place.

I am so sorry for the loss you are both dealing with. Grief is a difficult long winding road, I am sorry you are on it. Take things one step at a time and give yourself permission to grieve, it's a necessary part of the healing process.

Sorry for your loss. I have lost both parents and I don't think it's easy no matter what age you are. I was 18 when my Mom died and 34 when my Dad died. I miss them both so very much.
Take as long as you need to grieve. Pooey on those who say "buck up" after a few days or weeks "why so sad?" Your loss is Your loss.I hope you can take some time for some TLC for yourself. Grief and angst are some of the best times for me to write poetry. It's good therapy to let it all out. At least it was for me haha.It wasn't good for me to leave the pain inside.
Take care and know that you are being prayed for.

I am sorry for your loss too.I cannot imagine how hard that must have been? I am close to my brothers even though we don't live in the same state. I selfishly pray that we all live to be really really really old. I know that's silly but I just know that losing a sibling has got to be hard.I hope you too are taking some time for yourself and giving yourself some TLC.
Take Care
((hugs)) to you

Jill~
