As I Look Back on My Life.. I Laugh
You all are giving me the confidence I need to finally start the program I bought 5 months ago!It has taken me awhile because I am scared to feel anymore anxious than I already do and just reading all of your comments and everyones symptoms scared me. So, I made myself go online everyday to read more of everyones comments, symptoms and support. I feel comfortable enough now to start the program. A big heart felt thank to all!

Kizzy Kat...I rode out that first panic attack about 3 months into the program!!! I had the tools, and I made a conscious decision to take action!!!
I was really angry at the panic attacks, and the way I looked at is was like this...
If I had to live the rest of my life in this type of fear, then, what was the point in living!!! I was just plain fed up!!!!
So, I made a "conscious decision" one day to get out there and ride out that first panic attack...I had my mind made up...I wasn't going to run anymore...Period...
Twenty-one years of running was enough, and believe me, I had my feel of it...
Once you ride out the first panic attack...Face it head on, and do not run, then, it becomes easier and easier...
The "key" to overcoming panic attacks is to accept them...I mean actually embrace them with all of your being!!!
You know they are NOT dangerous in any way, and you cannot run from your own self...
No matter where you go, they will go with you, so, why not stop and look them straight into the eye, and say...Give me your best shot...I have had enough, and I don't have all day to play around with you...I have other things to do with my day!!!
Accept...Trust yourself...Know that you will be fine...Self talk...Deep Breathe...Float right through those panic attacks, and watch as they stop chasing you...
You are NOW playing their own game...You are NOW the one who is calling the shots...The panic attacks do not know how to react to the "new you"...since, you are NOW the one who is doing the chasing...
The panic attacks become really confused, and just don't want to hang around you any longer...
I pray this answered your question...God Bless..

Shifrah....You do laugh at yourself through your pictures!!! You have a great sense of humor, young lady!!!
It is much easier to avoid things in this life, especially if they feel scary to us, but, it is much wiser to feel the fear, and do the things we fear the most!!!
This is how we become stronger in this life!!!
Love Ya Bunches...Sissy...

I'm still working on the program and already I'm saying Ms. T Bones is right lol...Thank you for those words of encouragement...It is such a motivation to all of us!!You all are going to be fine. One day, probably in the near future you will look back, and say, "Remember what Ms. T Bones said, "She must have been right!"
