Hello everyone! My name is Ashley and I suffer from OCD. I have suffered since I was 7, that I can remember..
I have trouble getting through it, often wish I had a close friend who knew what I was going through.
I have been to counseling and have taken medications for my OCD, but none of which worked. I started using drugs and drinking to help with it, and also help with my depression, social anxiety, ptsd, etc.. Ended up in In Patient treatment at a local recovery center. I have some time being clean and sober, and am stuck wondering "what do i do to fix this?" ..

Anyway,
I hope this will be a help to me, and I am glad to be here.

:)

Do you have the program, Ashley? It will help you to get on the right track and to teach you what you need to know to help yourself. There are many wonderful books out there and there is a lot of support on this forum. A book I always recommend for OCD is by Dr. Howard Liebgold called Freedom from Fear. He deals directly with ocd and obsessive thinking.

My best to you.
