Can we have a discussion that is NOT about Jesus? It seems like every time a thread is started about other religions than Christianity, we are shot down, and pretty harshly. Now, if you are a Christian, and disagree, please PM me, as this thread isn't for debate, but for a nice, respectable discussion about OTHER religions.

I'm Wiccan, is there anyone else still here that isn't a Christian?

I have never seen any other religion on here, but, I am sure there may be some...

Have you ever thought that just maybe it is because our nation was founded on God????

spowers, Please clarify. are you asking christians NOT to be involved in this thread, or are you asking us to remain civil to be involved?

Hi spowers,

Why don't you just open the discussion, about whatever spirituality suits you. I am sure the people here are big enough to discuss whatever, if not, they don't have to participate, just as you have done in refraining to comment in discussions that may not suit your belief system.

However, you can not expect Christians to discontinue their discussions because a few people don't believe in Jesus Christ, or don't want to hear it about Christianity; that would be sort of like tyranny (rule by the minority). If the discussion goes in a way that you don't like you don't have to participate. Moreover, you do have a right to be on this forum, and you have a right to express you personal belief system, and no one, to the best of my knowledge, has said otherwise.

You opened this discussion negatively, so let's try it again, and discuss what spirituality you would like to discuss; rather than pointing fingers. This is a spirituality forum so; get spiritual. I think that may be more productive at getting to what you would like to discuss. I think you might be surprised.

G-man..Bub, I totally agree with you. I have never heard anyone lash out at others of different faiths, and I am on this site almost every day....

I, also, believe as "born again" Christians; we also have rights. Since, we love Jesus so much, then, it is only natural that we speak of Him so highly.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, and to worship however they please. But, as for me and my household; we choose to worship "Jesus"..

I pray that there is no offense taken...I am simply stating facts!!!! God Bless!!!!

Anyone is welcome, I've just seen more than one "other" spirituality thread taken over by Christians.

There are already threads for Christians. Just because you haven't seen any negativity from Christians on the "other" threads doesn't mean it didn't happen. I already left the forum once because of it, and since I'm trying again, I'd like to have a spirituality thread that I, as a non-Christian, can talk about spirituality in.

You must not have participated in the previous "other" thread. It got incredibly mean, from a few Christians. I never said "all the Christians need to shut up and stop posting" I asked that this NOT turn into another Christian thread.

Spowers..I am sorry that you are offended by our belief in Jesus! I suggest you try and find others on the forum who are of similar beliefs to your own. That is all that I have to say in this matter....God Bless
