Anyone on 100mg of Pristiq????

I am on 50 mg of Pristiq and I feel I am going through a bad phase again and I am so scared. I was wondering if anyone has taken 50 mg and than 100mg and felt better. Pretty please no negative comments I am already freaking out and need to hear some positivity because I may up my dose. Thank you

I am sorry you have hit a rough patch, but I know you can get through this just like you have before. As you remember I dont take Pristiq, but Lexapro and it is continuing to work well. Is it your doctor that wants to increase you meds to 100mg? If so, I would take his suggestion and try it. It could be that the 50mg just isnt enough for you anymore and you need to up your dose. Were you doing well on it before this episode? Talk with your doc, take his suggestions, and try what he says...remember there was a time when you were so scared to take any AD and you did and you were fine. I know you can get through this like you have in the past, life isnt easy, but there is help along the way, its just about finding the right balnce for you.

Hi Nole. Good to hear from you again. Yes I was feeling fine before this rough patch. I felt the Pristiq helped me so much but now I feel like it is coming back. It scares me to death. I dont ever want to go back but i feel it already. So i am thinking maybe upping my dose may help?

Holly I don't take that either, but if you think you might feel better on a higher dose, don't hesitate to talk to your doc. I know I've regretted waiting too long to make myself feel better. Discuss it with him and see what he thinks about it. At least then you'll know. Good luck!
