also, sometimes i put my needs/wants first. i dont think about what the other person needs or wants, but what i want. i do this a lot with my kids, well maybe not a lot, but more than i should. sometimes i do think about what the other person needs/wants and dont care, i have got to have what i want. i know, i am horrible arent i. am i the only one? does this program help put a stop to that? i hope so, i hate that about myself.

There are several sessions in this program which will help you focus on those behaviors. It's all about how much you really want to stop doing this because the person who is causing you to do this is yourself. The tools are within your program, but the doing part is all up to you. It will not be easy. Change is hard. Can you change? You can if you do the work.

You are not a bad person. You obviously see that quality in you which is a good thing. You have a good place to start. I am not a doctor so I cant give the best professional advice. Maybe you are being to hard on yourself. I am not sure. I have read her book and think that it could be very beneficial. It was the first thing that I really related to.
