Hi while reading I came across this spiritual verse from 2 Chronicles 20;15,17 and 20.

This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up
your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Oh Judea and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, the Lord will be with you.

Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in His prophets and you will be successful.

I found such comfort in these verses because I feel the Lord is saying I will fight this battle against the vast army ( my anxiety/negative thinking)all I have to do is stand firm in my faith. No matter what anxiety throws at me just breathe and stand knowing God will fight this battle.

I found this verse over the weekend. I wrote it down on a little index card and I have refered to it frequently. I am so surprised by what comfort/peace it has brought me. When I have had the start of negative thinking/panicky feelings I tell myself breathe and stand in faith. I am know able to accept/float through the thoughts and feelings.

Hopefully it may help someone. Take care and God Bless.

BNA, thanks for sharing those! I too, turn to scripture for comfort! That's what we're supposed to do. God knows ALL of our afflictions, fears, worries, etc. and he said "Do not be anxious for anything"...That shows me that he knows ALL and if we just take a few minutes daily to read his word, he will give us peace..AHHHHHHHHHH what a wonderfully MIGHTY God we serve :D :D :D

Blessings,
Robin

Thank you for those bna, very inspiring and motivating.

I often think of Moses when he tells the Lord he doesn't know what to say to the people and the Lord says not to worry, that He will give Moses the words at the right time. I'm paraphrasing here.

That's a favorite section of scripture for me to. Another one that I remember with it in Zeph. 3:17.
The Lord your God is mighty to save
He takes great delight in you
He quiets you with His love
He rejoices over you with singing
Thankyou and God bless you

Hi Everyone. I'm new and just started the program and it's been very, very tough and there are times I just don't follow the program for a couple of days, but I eventually do go right back to it. Now as I read all the you all posted>I wanted to say THANK YOU. it's was a reminder that God cares and is in control and loves us all individually. And the passages you all posted proves it. I am currently going through depression/anxiety due to being born and raised in a sexual, verbal, physical, mentaly, and emotionally abusive home and even after I left at age 19 to be free again more rapes occurred to me and I basically am very angry with God for not protecting me and saving me from all that I endured-my life has been a total mess that i don't think anyone can relate to. I'm 40 and still suffering and basically lost my life because of it. But, I want to say thank you for lifting me up and reminding me that I'm not alone in this. Thank you and I know God is using you all in spreading the seed and i know God will water is and will grow for us all. Again Thank you I really felt lifted up and not alone-lonely. Thnak you and may the Lord bless you all immensely.

Thank you bna and mom of 6!
Your words are inspiring!

O, I cannot imagine what all you have been through or the pain you have been through. I am so sorry. One of my favorite authors lived in a very abusive life growing up, and her books continue to lift me up. Her name is Joyce Meyers.

This website is really such a blessing to us all as is this program. It is a wonderful thing that when we share how we feel and what we're going through, that others DO understand it and offer help to us.

Thank you again,
Carolyn
