I think a good solution to this my be to ask yourself who you are or who do you think you are? Scary question huh, well it was to me because i found out that the shell we show the world called the ego was something i didn't have consistently. In other words i did not consistently maintain the an ego people could know me by. Ask yourself what it is you like and don't be afraid to demonstrate you like those things. Get into movies, sports, video games, serving at church, calling family members to tell them you love them, volunteering in the community. Express yourself by writing poems and if money permits maybe publish. Get in tune with who you are until you become so GROUNDED to this earth that depersonalization will not occur. Remember to choose a healthy ego. An ego that doesn't call for anxiety. An anti-spacey ego. Be more practical and limit your over thinking and creativity. Yes i said it, limit your creativity. It's sad to say this i know, but that's what gets you and i into another dimension when we need to be participating in this world. By the way, i have overcome anxiety. It is a lifestyle. It is a lifelong battle because the old personality will keep trying to come back but you MUST learn to change your behavior.
