A phone call from God...why don't things ever change?
Deb your scripture is the heading of chapter 3 in Battlefield in which I read this morning. I read this scripture many times and tried to understand it. What was revealed to me this morning was focusing on "loosen and relax our courage"! It said to me that this will be an ongoing work the rest of our lives and never should we get comfortable that we have it all figured out. Applied it to the focus on the program at hand. Thank you! Thank you Mhaz. Someday I would like to get one of Joyce's books. I have so many waiting for me to read...I'm overwhelmed. We picked some up from a garage sale. Each title seems to be the answer I am looking for. I just can't seem to find the drive to read.Originally posted by mhaz:
Glowbug I here you. I have isolated many times throughout my life because of my anxiety/depression. I am new at this program and am working on session 1. As with you I have experienced prayers that never seem to come to pass but not all of them. I am a believer and wanted to share that I am also reading a book by Joyce Meyers called battlefield of the mind as well as applying scripture. So much has been revealed the last week. This program is lining up with Joyce's teaching and scripture and has been filling in some spiritual blanks that I was blinded to. We have confidence that God does hear "our" prayers from the heart. We just have to find the escape route by faith. This program may be one of them. We have nothing to lose. I do feel your frustration! Give this thing a shot! I look forward to your posts!
