I am going to try to make the most of my time left. Negativity is something that comes so natural to me so this is going to be a challenge. I journal every day and I'm not sure that it is helping. Is anyone else having trouble with session 3 ?
I am also a very negative thinker so I know what you are going through.
One of the things that I have recently experienced is that being around
more positive people really helps me get back on the right track.
I have recently started to attend church again on a very regular
basis and I have met SO many nice ladies at the church that I have
been attending. They don't REALLY know me, but they are so kind
to me and always welcome me with open arms. I never knew until
recently that there were kind people out there like that. I have
been spending time with these ladies every Sunday at the bible
class and at brunch. It has become an eye opener for me to spend
time with some very positive folks on a weekly basis.
Are they perfect, no. Are they always right, no.
Is their life free of worries or problems, no.
But spending time with them gives me the chance, at least
for a few hours each Sunday, to see life in a different light.
And just feeling good and positive for a few hours one day
a week can lead to feeling good and positive for a few
hours during the coming week as well. So, try to spend some
time with some people that can offer you a more
positive take on life and spend less time with those
people that really bringing you down.
Session Three is a tough one, but very very important !
Take your time and you will get through it.
This program really can make a difference in your life.
PS: I live in Arizona and the summers are SO hot that
a person can almost not even tolerate the temperature outside. The weather
CAN have such an influence on how we feel. I have
to deal with the intense heat of the summer, but I
don't have to deal with the long dark days of winter
like a lot of folks do.
God Bless and Stay Strong,
