NEW TO THE PROGRAM

I AM 36 YEARS OLD AND BEEN LIVING WITH OCD AND DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS.IT ALL STARTED WHEN MY SON WENT TO LIVE WITH HIS FATHER AND HE IS MENTALLY CHALLENGED ALSO I TOOK CARE OF HIM ALL HIS LIFE UNTIL HE WAS 16 YEARS OLD.AFTER HE MOVED I WENT INTO A SHUT DOWN MODE AND DEPRESSION SET IN HE WAS EVERYTHING I DID IN A DAY I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO THINK ABOUT ENYTHING ELSE ESPECIALY MY 10 YEAR OLD OTHER SON
I HAD ALSO.I WAS MARRIED BEFORE I HAD MY OTHER SON.I TRIED DIFFERENT MEDICINES AND THEY HELPED FOR AWHILE BUT THEY EVENTUALLY QUIT I FIANLLY GOT THERAPY AND THAT HELPED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS.SINCE ME AND MY MOM DO NOT SPEAK BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED.I AM JUST ABOUT DONE WITH GROUP THERPAY AND THEY JUST TEACH YOU HOW TO THINK FOR YOURSELF/LIVE NOW NOT IN THE PAST.I SEEN THIS COMMERICIAL ON TV ABOUT THIS PROGRAM AND DECIDED TO TRY IT I AM ON LESSON 1 AND TRYING TO KEEP GOING IS IS JUST COMFORTING THAT YOU CAN HAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND SOMEONE TO TALK TO YOU. Welcome and I hope this works for you. I'm on Session 2 and it's been really good so far. I just hope it keeps getting better, for all of us.

Faith: I am so glad that you made that phone call and ordered the Program.
The Program works if you listen to the CD's, do the workbook, journal,
listen to the relaxation tape and continue with the support group.
Session Three is a very important Session, so take your time to
really listen to what it is all about. I am now working on Session
12, which is all about the Courage To Change, which is a very
scary thought for most of us. I encourage you to continue each
day and each week to work on the Program and to progress at
your own pace; so many people get overwhelmed in the beginning
that they quit the reading and listening or they just totaly start
over from the beginning. Take little baby steps and be kind
and compassionate to yourself. Have confidence each day,
you can do it. I am hoping that I finally have the Courage to
Change. Keep up the good work and keep in touch with us.
