My program arrived and I could not wait to get into it. I can honestly say I think I feel some anxiety even opening the package! Boy if anyone is not a believer! I am one of the most skeptical people I know and from the time I put in the Intro CD, I finally started to feel like I was going to get better. I have already listened to the first session twice and am amazed and what I have gotten out of it. I am keeping a journal of everything, from my feelings and emotions to what I felt like from my first attack. The workbook helps out tremendously! As I said, anyone who is a non-believer really needs to give this program a chance. Its amazing the improvements I feel in just the short time. My only question is, since I am enjoying it so much, should I really wait the week in between each session? I really would like to continue on and learn more at a pace I feel is good for me. Any thoughts??
PS- In this day and age, I don't have a portable CD player so what did I do... put the relaxation CD on my iPod, so now I can take it anywhere! So if I'm at the pool, or beach or work (when I do go back!) I can pop it in and go! Just food for though!
Best of luck to all!
I started the program...
The first two sessions seemed more like an introduction and I could see where you could spend less than one week on each but session three is an important one and I wouldn't recommend spending less than a week on this. In fact I spent two weeks on some sessions, especially #3. Repetition plays a big role and even if you 'get it' on the first listen I wouldn't recommend rushing through any of them after session 2.
Do one session each week like the program says. You have to go over that session at least 3 times in that week. Don't get too excited and start doing things incorrectly because you won't get the best result. There are many posts here where people are saying that, including myself. Each sessing links with the next and you will revisit previous chapters, so you will get the most benefit you can from the program. Take your time and do it right. You'll be glad you did.
