just starting the program

I'm a newcomer to this and I'm excited yet a little hesitant at the same time, but I'm eager to help myself :]

anyway, I'm following the schedule for the week at the beginning of the guidebook. on day 4, it says do your homework. but when I read over the homework at the end of Session 1, it sounded like something I should have done BEFORE I started my week one. for example, under homework/put it into practice, step 2, it says "begin each day this week by reading your flashcard that goes with session 1." well today is Friday and I just read my "homework" yesterday. so does that mean you spend two weeks on each session??? little confused thanks guys
