Left ear clogged 4 a wk!!!

Hey guys!!! Has anyone had one clogged ear, with NO pain??? I've had this 4 about a week. I'm contemplating on going to the med ck just to make sure its nothing serious, but trying to wait to c if it subsides. i keep having negative thoughts, cuz our ears r close to our brains!!! I don't want to run to the doctor for every little thing like I used to. Trying to stay calm about it. What should I do??? A little scared!

You can go to your local grocery store or pharmacy and buy some baby oil, heat it up a little bit and put a few drops down your ear. My Ear, Nose and Throat Dr told me this when I went to visit it for the same reason.

Don't worry about it, I've had that before too. Once I was sitting at home and suddenly lost all hearing in my left ear Talk about freaking out. I lived at home at the time, called my dad and he drove me to the emergency, I sat in the emergency room for 6 hours before a nurse had a look at me. Finally a nurse had one look and said, oh it's just a big piece of wax stuck in your ear. What a relief! Since then I've had my ears flushed several times, it's painless, quick and you'll feel SO much better.

Not to worry, normally it's wax buildup in your ear that causes it. The doctor can see immediately if this is the case and can normally wash it out with no problem. You may want him/her to take a peek at it.
