I have woken up for two nights in a row in the middle of the night very disoriented. Both times my heart was racing and I didnt know where I was. I had to finally convince myself that I was home after finally waking up fully. A lot of times I will wake up and I will be up out of the bed. This kind of scares me. I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced these types of things before.

yes, its kind of funny (in a strange sort of way), but my wife and i bought a condo here in northern VA.

at the time of purchase, i was still in buffalo, ny working on coursework for my masters degree. after the summer semester was over, i came here (VA) to live and settle down.

well, that first night i fell asleep on the couch, and woke at some odd hour as i heard my wife shuffling off to bed.

when i woke, i did not know where i was for about 5 seconds. it scared me, because i never have had problems like this.

but i know what you are talking about.

yes, i have experienced this and it is very scary! however i think that it is not a big deal, nothing to worry about, easier said then done!
when our nervous systems become taxed and over tired we react and have all sorts of odd sensations and experiences. vitamin b6 and b12 are good for the nervous system. also i feel that taking omegas has helped a lot with brain function etc...

hope you feel better soon!
