Hi everyone!

I was curious if anyone out there has been given Trazodone for anxiety/panic/depression? If so, have you had any ill effects?

I have been on just 50mg. for two weeks now and am crawling out of my skin, moreso than before starting it! It is absolutely making me nuts, but I am trying to give it a fair shake, upon the advice of my PCP and my boss (I am an RN).

The past few days have been especially horrid! I think I would rather deal with the anxiety/panic/depression on the level it was, pre-Trazodone, but like I said, trying to be a good patient, LOL! I take that back, these issues aren't funny at all. And, he wants me to increase it to 100mg. SOON... I wonder if the 100mg. will make me calmer?

Very appreciative of any input!! Thanks and Happy Holidays to one and all.
:)

Can you ask the Doc to give you something else?

Unfortunately, I cannot tolerate SSRI's either! Have been the gambit with just about everything... this is a last ditch effort!

SeeBee, I had the exact problem you had with the trazadone. I told my doctor I was having a problem with it, the same stuff you are going through, he told me to keep trying. I went to another doctor (who is now my current doctor)who immediately took me off trazadone. He put me on buspar, which worked for me.

Good Luck
Lisa
