clonazepam and brain fog
I took 1/2 of a 0.5 last night and didn't sleep through the night, got up 2 times like normal. I woke up this morning and I'm in a fog. Wonder what would have happened if I took the .5. Anyone else feel or felt this way? I don't like this feeling. I like to feel sharp not dull. Im going back to bed!!!

i take it too...i take half in morning and half in afternoon...i feel in a fog toountili getup and get going...that feeling goes away after a few days....you really should take the .5 if you need it to sleep, it will help in that regards, however take as prescribed. plus its not like xanax that is a quick acting benzo. yyes clonazepam owrks fast, but its best effects are felt when built up in system, so take as directed

I agree! Don't use Klonopin like you would use Xanax, for one is a quick acting benzo while the other is to be used as a control med to be built up over time.
Are you simply using Klonopin? Do you use any other Anxiety Resources? When I take Klonopin I feel like I am in a fog for a day or two, but when I took SSRI's I seemed to be emotionless all the time. I hated the feeling.

This drug is known to be abused by drug addicts. I know, I'm an addict.
.. Sober now, though. Xanex is a severe and deadly drug, in my oppinion. It kills the soul when you grow dependent. Klonopin is pretty bad, too. I know people who would take 4 or 5 at a time, and smoke weed or drink alcohol, and they were out of this world. I was riding with a guy who was strictly on klonopin, and we about hit a tree going 65 mph. This drug is serious. I know you are using it for best intentions. I simply just can't take it, as I will likely become dependent on it. Simply, because it really is a fog. If you don't like being in this state of mind, I would suggest that you tell your doctor. I have severe anxiety, and there are other types of medications out there other than benzos.
