Pregnant, telling my boss advice needed.

Sos… I work for a huge company. I'm 3 months pregnant. I have not told my coworkers yet. I want to but know I should share with my boss first. All things hr and totally separate from bosses here. So I thought about going in to talk to the boss first, just tell him I'm due in May. Then email my ultrasound pix to the people who I chat with in the office or just bring in a pic and put it on my desk. I'm not into being the center of attention. I considered just emailing my boss the news because I'm anxious about telling him. I don't know --- is that totally inappropriate??

No it wasn't bad. I had expected some frowns and judgement but none of that. I expect it'll be behind my back, which is fine with me. All woman office lots of gossip. But of course some people are weird, someone tried to life my shirt to look at my stomach

and someone else made a comment about how I already eat a lot sooo it'll be worse ??? Strange...

Glad it was okay with the boss. Co-workers sound pretty weird! Try to tune out the negative. Some people are very jealous. Congrats on pregnacy..Best wishes!
