Some women do get more anxious while pregnant. Hormones can set it off, or just the normal anxieties about having a baby. Its normal to be anxious when you are expecting. Its a big change. But now you know why you are feeling anxious and how to deal with the feelings. Try to focus on all the positive things you have to experienc when the baby comes. We tend to dwell on the negative but we can redirect our thoughts to more calming positive ones. I think in time you will begin to relax again. Is this your first child?

Even though you may have anxiety at times, if you have done the program, you should be able to comfort and remind yourself that you know what this is, and that you've overcome it before. I know that has been a comfort to me since the first time I overcome this problem. I have setbacks at times but it's never like the first time.
Hi Dawfai, I was under the impression that being on medication was not allowed while you are pregnant. Is this totally wrong or is it somewhat right? I mean, if you are 8 months pregnant and taking the medication, then there must be no harm that can be done to the developing baby, correct?

Hi there, I'm 3 months pregnant!
I am a little more high strung and tend to let stuff get to me but at the end of the day I do not forget the foundation of the program. Don't worry about others, enjoy YOUR experience and being pregnant. Let things flow and live in the moment
I'm really excited about having a child and we can't wait. There is a lot to do and it can be overwhelming but let it keep you busy instead and don't forget to just breath
By the way a friend of mine is taking lexapro and she's 7 months pregnant. I think you just have to go with the flow. If it becomes unbearable and you are too depressed and anxious then you might need something to take the edge off. Good luck!!

I know that it is different for each individual but I had my son almost 6 months ago so the pregnancy is very fresh on my mind and I had alot less anxiety while I was pregnant! Afterwards is when I had the worst anxiety. I am trying to cope with it still but slowly but surely its working. I have the program and tons of faith in it. You all will do fine! We will get through it all!
