hi
Awww Deedee, I'm around, wasnt' as often till this past friday when the second major vertigo of my entire life decided to hit...29 months to the day after the first one back on January 24 2006. The one thing that I was able to stop immediately after that attack was the panic and I did that by using the tools I learned from the program two years ago.
We now know what triggers the vertigo attacks though. I was working upwards of 16 hrs a day, smoking between 2 & 3 packs a day, and stressed out beyond belief. Since Friday, I've cut my work time back to 10 hrs a day; cut the stress from everyday life down alot and have gone from 3 pks a day down to only 10 cigarrettes today so far. Yesterday I had a total of 16, quite a difference from 40 to 60 a day isn't it?
I am going through major withdrawl junk now so thought I'd stop in and read for awhile just to take my mind off of life/smoking when I saw your thread. I'll be fine Deedee...don't worry, I will beat this addiction because I do NOT want to ever have another vertigo attack again.
Otherwise, I check into chat once in awhile, my life really took off this past year and I'm enjoying it again (excluding this one setback which will pass) so I don't get in as much as I used to.
I think about 90% of the list above + my own list of MIA's which date back even further than yours but I know they are out, working, and enjoying life again and that is the main reason "all" of us came here in the first place...to learn how to handle/beat/and destroy panic, anxiety, and/or depression.
For now, have a great day and I'll see you again sometime...
NEXT oldie please....
David

Hi David. I'm so glad to hear how far you've come. I've been away from the site myself but when I came back I didn't recognize any names on here. Kudos to you for the great job you're doing quitting smoking. I'm so happy to hear that.
Take care.
DeeDee
