I received the program last week and for the first couple of days it went pretty well, but now I just don't want or feel like doing it. I keep telling myself that I will get over my anxiety problems, but I never put in the time or effort to do so. I really just want to know how did any of you find the drive or dedication to keep going with the program? It seems so, hard for me to do.

I guess the bottom line is.

Do you want to have those moments or do you want the moments to have you??? How bad does it hurt?

You can do this one day at a time one minute at a time.

Hello teotsp3,
Has there ever been a time when you didn’t want to do any of these? “Dance, Reading, Writing, Exercise, Anything novel” If so how did you find the drive or dedication to go back to them? I just finished session 1 but it took me 2 weeks to get motivated enough to get started on it. I would have a good day & think I don’t need this program. But then I would have a bad day & think I had better get started on it now. This went on for 2 weeks & I finally got tired of the way I was feeling so I started the program. I think the farther in to the program we get the better it will be & the better we will feel. To me that’s all the motivation I need knowing that I will feel better at the end of the program or maybe even feel better after session 2 or 3. I want & WILL feel better before I’m done with the program.
You will be OK just keep trying, don’t give up on yourself. I believe you can do it, there are a lot of people on here that think you can do it also. We are all here to help each other, so get back to the program & start feeling better.
Good Luck, you will be fine,
Larry

The program is hard because there is a change happening within you.

I have been finding out what problems my anxiety/depression created in my life and this program gave me a plan to follow in changing that. Each week is another step to take away and keep it away. I feel more relaxed, able to do more and enjoy the day.

Some lessons may take longer to do which is fine just remember to move forward.

I also received some motivation thru my daily devotionals. I listen to one of the lessons and the next day the devotional was on the same topic.

There are going to be bad times but continuing with the program will decrease them. Listen to how happy and relaxed the people are in the group sessions. I want to be one of them and hope you do to.

Take care
Steve
