anyone take these 2 meds?

hey all i am on 10 mgs of lexapro and .5 mgs of klonopin twice daily. anybody take these at the same time and if yes how do you feel? i feel really tired

I am on 20 of prozac and .5 ativan three times a day. I am tired but trying to adjust. I see this as a temporary need. I just started the program after having a really bad time trying to take a vacation. I was totally in full panic mode for 5 days. It was awful and I hit rock bottom with my panic disordered. When I was able to get home I went on the meds. I have only been on the meds for 7 days.

Yep.....me. I started at 2mg of Klonopin a day (.5 am .5 noon and 1mg at bed) and 10mg Lexapro back in June. After about 4 weeks on Lexapro, I weaned down to 1mg of Klonopin a day over about 2 months or so. Yes, to answer your question, for the first week I was VERY tired. But in less than a week, the sleepyness went away, but the calm was still there. Now, I love it. I am weaning off the Klonopin, because I don't want to take a Benzo the rest of my life, and know from years ago that the longer you are on it, the longer it takes to come off it, but it has saved my life more than once, and my only advice is if and when you do decide to stop it, do it very SLOWLY. It can be very effective if used properly.

I'm on 15 mg of Lexapro and 1 mg of clonazepam klopin I have not had hardly any hot panic attacks and running. I'm sleepin much better but it takes awhile so I take it at 8 pm and then usually do quiet things and in bed by 10. I have n\had no problems with being tired in the morning. It has changed me but God is the only one who has. Christin

Hi, I take 20 mg of Lexapro and I use to take klonopin. I was up to 6 mg a day. Which was an overdose. My old doctor was a Nutter, and my new doctor has taken me off klonopin, but it took me 6 months to get off klonopin. I felt tired and was sleeping all the time. I feel so much better off klonopin. But the doctor did find I had fibermyalia and placed me on Lyrica. Ask your doctor for a different medicine. And a simple blood test can check for other problems you may need to know about.

I currently taking Lexapro 10 mg and Librax. I am thinking about changing the Librax to Klonopin. My doctor is not to in tuned with anxiety and the more research I do I find out that Librax is used more for IBS which I do not have. I have heard great things about the combination of Lexapro and Klonopin and the way that I have been feeling lately I think I need something that will start working immediately to relive the high levels of anxiety I am feeling.
