Scared to drive!!!

I am wanting to drive out of town so bad because I met somebody who unfortunately lives 3 hours away,but they are also my safe person who truly understands how I feel and understands how to calm me down and knows what to say to me when I get my feelings that person distracts those negative vibes,but like I said I have a fear of driving because I may panick or scared Im going to lose control of myself what should I do? One day I feel ok to drive. but when I plan the days to go I chicken out and make excuses of having to work.

You can order a CD from here at this site by Carolyn Dickman called driving with comfort. I thought that it was really good. Do you drive at all? Or can you just not drive out of your safe zones?

I can drive around town and a short trip on the highway,but when its a long 3 hour drive its scares me.
