Just curious if someone out there could give me some advice on a trip I'm about to take. I live in Jacksonville, Fl and I will be flying(something I hate to do)to Colorado Springs. Ok, I'm hearing a lot about altitude sickness which consist of increased anxiety (if one is already prone to that), dizziness, shortness of breath etc... Is there anything that I can do to prevent this if at all possible? By the way I'm going there to assist my sister and brother in law in driving back to Florida because they are moving. Please help. Thanks guys!~ Melodie

Well, on the positive side, you'll be driving back, so you'll be fine then. I'm afraid of flying too, so i probably cant help that much. But i would suggest, deep breathing excercises, meditation, relaxation CD etc before hand.

When I have to fly I take Dramamine. I have severe motion sickness and I can totally handle it with NO problems as long as I take the dramamine!
