Hello all:
As usual, I awoke this morning with a surge of adrenaline, did some breathing, stretching (still in pjs and in bed) and reached over to my nightstand to turn the bedside table lamp on. There's been a book there that I have had some trepidation about beginning but I'm really glad I did start it today, even though I believe it may have been part of the catalyst for my (catastrophic/off the charts) panic attack this morning, of which I am still going through.
At any rate, it's Entitled "Embracing Fear: and finding the courage to live your life" by Thom Rutledge. It is promising to be an EXCELLENT read and I will share some of it with you at a later time.
I'm just wondering if any of you have read it and/or are familiar with any of the author's OTHER writings. Feedback? Opinions?
Let's talk!
Love to All~

what a morning!
I have "Embracing the Fear:Learning to manage your anxiety and panic attacks", but it is by a different author. It is really good. Please let us know how yours is!! Also, please give us some highlights, possibly most helpful perspectives you get out of it that may be fresh aside from the the program program.
I find a lot of the books are similar, but usually find atleast a few very valuable new perspectives in each!

Ahhhh........yes, wonderful mornings and our Cortisol and Adrenaline. Haven't read it, but did see it at the bookstore the other day. Let me know if its worth it. Speaking of mornings, I know its definitely chemical, because it even happens to me when I wake from a nap too. So why don't I just expect it and ignore it??? Working on it
Take care all!
