AS some of you may know, I've been going through some "relapse" if you will... I also understand(keeping realistic) that life goes that way. In the "program" we are told that this can happen and that is why they've dedicated a lesson for it #15= "getting beyond a growth spurt."
I know that God uses or "trials and tribulations" so we may strengthen our faith and persevere, thus making us more mature in our faith, which is what we must do to conquer all of this. As it says, "We are more than conquerors". There are life things that WILL happen, this will NEVER change..however, when we fully depend on our Lord and Savior, and give it all to him and believe in his promises..All the while going through these "trials", We will surely rise above it all! "Though the storms of life come quickly, I will cling to my Rock(Jesus) and I will NOT be swept away" Life is NOT always going to be easy, but it will be worth it in the end when I am escorted to the gates of heaven :D :D :D My friends..that makes it WORTH IT! So, with that in mind, here's a wonderful insight from Joel and Victoria Osteen. Enjoy and God bless you ALL.

A Place of Abundance

Today's Scripture

…We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:12 NIV).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Everyone has times in life when they feel like they are going through the fire or perhaps feel overwhelmed with everyday life. If that’s you today, understand that God is going to bring you through those challenges; He’s going to bring you through the fire and the flood into a place of abundance. We serve a God of more than enough, and His heart is to always make sure you have whatever you need to be successful in every area of your life. The Bible says that Jesus came so that we can have life—abundant life! He wants you to have an abundance of resources, an abundance of wisdom, an abundance of peace—everything you need. Open your heart and thank Him for His goodness. Begin to receive His promises by faith. Remember, your praise opens the door for Him to move on your behalf, and He wants to take you to a place of abundance in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, I humbly come to You today, giving You all that I am. Thank You for leading and guiding me into a place of abundance. I give You all the glory and praise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
"O God, you are my God. Earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is BETTER than life,my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands." Psalms 63

Thank you for sharing this with everyone. I am very encouraged by what you wrote. Even though you are having a "relapse" your faith is still strong. May your faith grow stronger everyday, and may you feel the peace of Our Lord all around you!

Ivyheart, thank you for your kind response :) When I meditate on his words, I am reminded that everything we go through(trials and affliction) is actually helping me grow strong and mature in my relationship with Christ and those around me. Fire purifies and perfects, therefore I have to be willing to go "through" it. Whatever he has in store for me will benefit me in the end. I have to be "content in all situations" as Paul put it. I have to believe in all of Gods promises that are written. Giving me Hope and faith.
I am NOT saying, by all means, that this is an easy task, I'm simply saying that the end result is worth it! I wish I could always have this mindset. Sometimes in my most anxious times, I forget everything that I've learned. I become fearful and insecure, doubtful and confused. I fall down, but God of mercy and grace gently dusts off my knees and sets me up on my feet again. I just thank him for being so patient and loving to me as I go through this process!
again thank you and God bless you
