I have it. I started noticing it in March (about a week after I started taking Paxil). I went to an opthalmologist, neurologist and finally a neuro-opthalmologist. I even had an MRI. I passed every test with flying colors - they all say that my eyes are fine and that it is just a "phenomenon" that comes from your brain.
I stopped paxil but the snow didn't stop. I don't know if it is/was related. I still have snow 24/7 but I don't notice it all of the time. I feel sure it is anxiety related - maybe that part of the brain is effected.

Yeah,
I must say that I have this form time to time as well.
I thought that I was so alone in this one, that I forgot that I even occassionally experience it, so never mentioned it to anyone.
I seem to notice it when I look up at a clear sky or something. Like little clear 'dots' or something.
Right?

I get this too it is almost like static on t.v. little dots like pixels. I had it pretty bad a couple of months ago or I was just focusing/fixating on it to much. I even went to the eye doctor he said it was floaters. Since then I have learned to live with it and there are times when I don't even notice it. But if I do I no longer let it scare me.

for those interested, coming from my Holistic background of 25+ years, visual snow stems from a liver that's talking to you. Don't get alarmed but it's toxicity of the liver....everyone has it because we live in a toxic world. Plus the liver is hugely involved with anxiety being it's where we store emotions. The Chinese recognize the liver as our emotional being and it's also called the Liver of Life. If you're liver is toxic you don't want to live life to the fullest and always feel like you're under a cloud of doom and gloom. That's where depression stems from as well. Anxiety is a stressed state of the liver and depression is a weakened state of the liver. Dandelion is one of the more prevelant herbs for helping the liver and you find it in most liver combinations. When I have the visual snow show up, I start taking extra liver support and it leaves. God Bless!!
