Any POSITIVE stories with an herbalist??
Just curious who has been to an herbalist for their anxiety/depression and how it worked out for you. I saw one today and I spent a lot of money on just the herbal supplements alone. i have to take around 20 pills a day. The usage says take 3 three times a day with each supplement and i got 5. I am hoping this will not hurt my stomach is all. I was also prescribed oil that i rub in my hands and sniff it. It helps to relax and feel happy. . i will start all of these tomorrow so I'll keep anyone who is interested in natural alternatives posted.
"Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)"
Took all the herbs yesterday. They didn't hurt my stomach which is a plus because usually everything hurts mt stomach. . So since i only took em yesterday I don't feel any affect yet. . . actually, I was a lot more calm last night than the night before. . But who knows why? maybe the herbs maybe a coincidence. . But they seem like they're so good for your body I am thinking they will help. I'll keep you all posted with this. ladie, He did say that if your tongue is very red that means you have some kind of hormonal imbalance. . apparently my tongue was red hot. haha. I looked at it and it really was. . He also did other tests on my feet, hands pulse, stomach, palms and tongue. The test showed I have a virus in me (not a major virus or anything. like a dull one) that is causing me to feel sick a lot and making me have anxiety/depression. . and it showed i eat too much sugar and have hormonal imbalances. So 3 of the herbs are for the virus which will help my anxiety and the other 2 are for my hormones. . Any believe me my hormones are always crazy 2 weeks before my cycle. . the physical symptoms i can deal with but when my hormones make me feel like i am losing it is the worst!! . . so i'll keep you all posted this month.

I don't have any experience with herbs. However because of problems with over-eating I have been off sugar and bread and other processed flour products for over 6 years. As well as losing and now maintaining a normal weight I feel better too. Different people have different "food allergies" More recently gave up caffeine, following Lucinda's advice, no caffeine really helps too.
I have gone to an Iridologist in the past where they look at the iris of your eyes and by the markings in certain areas can tell you where your body is off balance. I have always been told I have a hormonal imbalance and a few other problems such as problems with my thyroid. Then they give you herbs to help balance you out.
I have found the information to be very accurate and they are telling me symptoms I feel. But I have not stuck with the herbs long enough to see if it actually works. I have a problem with sticking with anything. Such as this program.
But in a month or so I plan on going back to the Iridologist to see how I am doing. Maybe this time I will stick with it.
All I can tell you is that we all react different to medication, vitamins or herbs. So give it a try and let us know your results.

Hi Holly J, I read your topic I do not have experience with herbal.. But one thing you brought up a good coping skill that I didnt think of. I might will consider add that coping skill on my list. You bring up about using lotion and smell them its a good one to help you distract yourself from anxiety by focus on the smelling! Thank you
