Hello,
I have been dealing with feeling dizzy/off balance for over a year now : (
However, lately I have been getting these very strange scary sensations and I need some feedback on what they could be!!!!
Sometimes I will be sitting quietly when out of the blue I will feel a sort of head rush and then a split second sensation like everything freezes and goes into slow motion and then like the room moves, sort of a jolt...........so hard to explain!!!
I don't know what this is!!! Is it anxiety, nerves, dehydration, the position I am sitting in cutting off circulation to my brain, am I holding my breath???? It really scares me!!!
I don't know what to do!
Also sometimes when I see something move out of the corner of my eye it makes me feel off balance! The same sensation one gets when sitting in the car and the car next to them moves and you think you are moving.
NEED ADVICE PLEASE!!!
Thanks
Coco : )
Head rush/dizziness???
Hi, Coco
I don't know if is the same thing but I used to feel like a cold sweat in my head and rush sometimes. Once my panic attacks were gone and the anxiety was less, it stopped coming. My mind played a lot of tricks to me. I went to dr and did physical and lots of blood work they came out fine and that helped minimized the fear. Hope this helps.

Hi CoCo,
You poor thing you have been suffering from this for a while now, I was on another site, and they have some great info about dizziness, hope it helps you.
As far as the head rush, it could be adernalin, I sometimes get that feeling when I am sleeping and the only way I can explain it is that is feels like I am falling, I dont no if that makes any sence or not, some of these dam symptoms are hard to explain, I did find alot of good info on this site, wish you the best.

Hello Coco2!I've read a lot of your posts where you describe this dizziness.I want you to know that you're not alone. This is also one of my anxiety symptoms.Being off-balanced,dizzy feeling.I know how scary it feels. If you've been checked out by you Dr.and everything came back okay then it probably is just you're anxiety. It's a hard thing to except but the good thing is we can work on this. What works for me is refocusing as soon as I start to feel this way.Don't give it any power by worrying about it.Pray, trust in God,and start saying positive things like"God is in control.I am in good hands."If you keep focused on those things you will soon find out that you'll be able to control those feelings more and more.Take your time.Recovery comes one day at a time.I hope this helps you.Take care and PM me if you want.God bless!!
God bless you.
It could also be vertigo, which is an inner ear distrubance. I have had this before and when I have an episode it causes anxiety. I just recently went to the doctors and he said I have water in my inner ear which can cause these sensations, what you describe sounds similar to what I have been feeling. He said to take Zyrtec to help clear up the excess fluid in the ear, it seems to have helped. There are also antvertigo meds that help as well.
I would see your Pdoc to rule out vertigo/inner ear problems. That very well may be the reason for the dizziness and then you get nervous about it causing anxiety on top of it, it can become a vicious cycle.
Good luck to you.
