medications and why they aren't working
I am there with you. I have always resisted taking medication but finally decided to. I am trying to be patient and let them work but continue to have new and different feelings which seem to cause more anxiety. The waking up at night and not getting sleep is the worse. It is really good to have this program and know others out there are having the same feelings.
Lance: Hang in there as I too have been in your position, but could not do the meds. Caused me more anxiety. Some other suggestions. Not only enroll in the Program, but hire a Coach. Worth the extra money and there is a guaranty. Call an hour a week with someone who has been there. Also, took Boon's recommendation and purchased Freedom From Fear by Howard Liebgold,M.D. As good as the Program is, I really recommend the book. Get it on Amazon. Start being proactive. For me anxiety places me in the receiving mode and the more I take control, the less intense the feelings. Best
Thank you all for listening. I have enrolled and just waiting for my cd's. To Inez V: I understand and would love to sleep all night for once.It is good to know that you're not the only one out there feeling the same way, I hope you sleep well soon! To beckyl:You have named drugs Ive never heard of. I did try wellbutrin years ago as a quit smoking medication, honestly with the mention of that drug, it made me feel like I could explode at anytime. It does makes cigs tasteless but I stopped fast. Thank you for your kind words, I do know that this isn't gonna kill me. I do exercise and actually had an attack during, my Dr thought that was wierd. Maybe I should exercise a little harder! Ty! To belinda333: I agree with you about the nutrition, and meditation, and I've heard good things about yoga.I don't know any meditation techniques. Any suggestions? thanks! To Michael John: I would like to hear more about hiring a coach and what thats all about. I will check out this book by Dr. Liebgold. Thank you. Thank you all so much. I will conquer this I know, and hope to help someone when I'm able to
