Pecos-Those I remember. I remember Van Morrison but not that particular song right of the bat. I also like "I wanna bop with you, baby, all night long" don't know who did it.
Encourage others to list theirs.
Simply thinking about some of the songs makes me smile.
Bye.

I have Simon and Garfunkel's (SP?) "Cecelia" as my ringback and always get compliments on it when people call my cell. :)

I think any of Vivaldi's music is upbeat, that is mostly 1st and 3rd movments of concertos that is. I really like Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, 3rd mov. Same w/ VC No.2!

I have a ton of different songs that put me in a good mood. Several of the stones songs. "start me up", and "honkey tonk women" to name two. I also like Billy Idol, Smashing Pumpkins-"today is the greatest day", zztop-"gimme all your loving". Two of my favorite ones are, "Im not crazy I'm just a little unwell", by Matchbox Twenty(I love the irony in that one!) and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves.

Sorry I just found this post today. My fav. song to listen to when I feel anxious/panicky is stronger woman by jewel. I know that the song is talking about a relationship with a guy but if you listen to the lyrics and just make them about being a stronger woman and being your own best friend it really lifts you up.

fischee & Beckyl--Thanks so much for your responses. Fischee--I remember "Cecelia"-good for you! Beckyl-I apparently missed my email saying I had a response to the forum. Those are great songs also. And thanks for reminding me of the artist singing "Bop". We are supposed to feel better just thinking about these upbeat songs.
God bless you both,
BrotherDeborah
