if your a female it could be a hot flash some have been known to last a long time

I get them but mostly confined to the head and neck. stress can certainly add to the intensity of this sensation.

Try some cold water to drink and a cold wet rag on the back of the neck. something about that particular area and the cold it seems to refocus the body. An ice pack can work too. if your out and it happens use a cold drink and wet your hands and put them on your neck it helps.
hope it helps you out.

Thanks for the advice....the doctors seem to think its all stress related...but nothing ever happens it goes and it comes...sometimes more intense times than others...but it last for a while....

Sometimes if i get really anxious and a bad panic attack, i get a realllllly hot feeling that comes right through me, it isn't pleasant. That's probably what it is.
