Do any of you lovely ladies suffer from PMDD and if so know anything natural to take for it? I was thinking of starting 5htp. . But i did take it 3 months ago but only for 2 weeks because i didn't feel much but does it take a while for the 5htp to work? I am just very bad this month and my anxiety (which i have tamed) has now sky rocketed for the past 4 days. Does anyone go through this? It's awful. I am wondering if it's because i got off the pill a month and a half ago. . I didnt feel hormonal really when i was on it but got off it when i started getting anxiety because i hear it can make your anxiety worse.

I have PMDD and it sucks. I tried taking natural supplements for a few months and nothing seemed to help. I took, fish oil, mulitivit., evening primrose, ate better, exercised, calcium, vit. D, magnesium, everything it says to do and the PMS was still really bad. I had it for 2 weeks before my period which is like feeling miserable for half of my life.

The only thing that has worked for me has been 10mg of Lexapro, it worked almost instantly, I havent had PMDD since starting it, its been a godsent. It also has rid me of anxiety and worry in the process.
