does anxietycause the flu?

so i had a flu 2 weeks ago and i had a fever , chills and threw up. . earlier that day i was in a panic mode (iv been having constant panic for 2 mos now) and i think maybe my stress caused the flu kind of and ever since than i feel like a flu is coming on again and its freaking me out. like my lower pelvis area hurts like when you have the flu. . does anyone ever get this and now i am SOOO afraid of dying from the flu. i read that people can die from it.

Dying from the flu is so rare, and usually is with the elderly or people with severe illness. I have found that when I have anxiety bad, I tend to get sicker. I'm not sure if it is the anxiety making my symptoms worse or if anxiety weakens us. Hope you feel better soon.

I had the flu in March & ever since my panic attacks have returned with a vengence!
just know that flu season is pretty much over!
