Hey rich,
Its good to at least try it without meds, like deedee says down there you can get through anxiety without them, which is good to know that other people have done it and are doing, it gives me more hope. I am scared of pills and rather not be on them. Im almost positive that you (and me) and can do it without meds.

Sadly, I am not going through the program. I dont have nearly enough money AT ALL, but im glad this site is open for everyone cause i really needed this. Im reading Lucinda's book from Panic to Power and it helps a lot. I have heard and read a lot about the program though and sure it will help in some way. I only hear good things about it. Good luck!!!

I've been on every antidepressant on the market. Hated them all! At the beginning of this year my doctor weaned me off of cymbalta and then I started this program. I've been doing it for 11 weeks now without meds. When I was on meds I was in this constant fog and just didn't care about anything (not to mention the horrible headaches that go along with SSRIs). Going off the meds has allowed me to focus on the problem and gave me the energy to work on correcting it. I don't regret it one bit, and I will never go back.

Hi Jonellelee.

Try going on ebay.com. You can buy the whole program from other people for great low prices.

Hmmm....I hear all of ya here. I've been struggling with this all my life, in the past 2 + years the dr. had me try all different kinds of meds...all to which were NOT a good idea. Then I went to alcohol and pot(for migraines the dr said)Guess what? None of this crap works!!! So here I am! Tryin my LAST attempt of healing myself!!!AS no doctor has helped in 30 plus years....other than writing a perscription! I don't want DRUGS...I want to fix ME!!!!!!!

hello everyone .. i am also new to the program..starting it tm.. and i have never used any drug except ativan randomly when i need it which i try not to use often... i have had anxiety and panic disorder for 4 years now so it is possible.. sometimes iget discourages and want to go on drugs but all the bad stories i hear of ppls side effects and espeically the withdrawl scare me even more... so ive chosen t try and deal with it without.... its not the easy way out that sfor sure .. but it makes you feel better in the end and more empowered. :)

I'm one of those people that totally fear meds, it's kinda funny cuz i used to pop tylenol everytime i had headaches or pepto everytime i had diarrhea, but that was back in the days. Ever since last June when i started feeling anxious and panicky thats when i started fearing meds. I just received my program yesterday and I am gonna try so hard to get thru this with out medications. I know it will be a little hard but im gonna do my best.

I'm not currently on any meds. I stopped the small amount of Prozac I was taking when I started the program. Haven't taken any Xanax for a long time now but that doesn't mean I wouldn't if I felt I really needed it for an acute anxiety attack. I guess the program has been effective for me, as I can't even recall the last time I had an acute anxiety attack.
