I'm on session 4/day 2, but I wanna go back and do session 3 again. I love session 3. I've read the book about 15x and listened to the audio about 10x. I've been using the positive self talk all day every day. I'm smart, interesting, funny, good lookin, confident. I don't believe all this stuff and didn't believe any of it 2 weeks ago, except for the good lookin part ha.ha... I've been talkin to myself so negatively for so long that I am addicted to it. That's crap, I can be addicted to the positive in everything like the cds say. I'm gonna keep talkin to myself positively and hopefully more and more of it will continue to sink in. Thanx cuttingirl. I'm starting to think that the only thing between us and true happiness is the negative way our brains work. I don't think I'm anywhere near being truly at peace with myself, but I'm damn sure sick of being negative all the time. I'm just gonna keep on, keepin on with positive self talk and maybe it'll keep sinkin in

Cap,
Im sure you are all those things you stated!! We just arent used to finding them in ourselves. We can tell others positives about themselves, but never take the time to realize we have LOTS of positives about ourselves.
Let me add one to your list.. You are determined! You are motivated to change!!Both positives!!! You keep on going,, You will over come this!! Take care Nelly:)

Thanx Nelly, I would like to think I'm determined and motivated. I know I'm willing to do anything that is asked of me if it means I can beat this.

Hey Cap, great post and great attitude. I just had to write and add one to your list. Being one myself I know it is a positive even though many may not be aware. You are an OKIE, and being one means you have something real good down inside you. It sounds though it is coming back out. Keep it up, Bruce

excellent philosophy! i'm still working on it. it doesn't fly with me unfortunately, as i further beat myself up for being dis-ingenuine. still we must all fake it till we make it - especially if you're a corporate-rat-cubicle-dweller like myself.
best wishes

Hey everybody. I'm Ivan and i'm totally new here. I started the program a couple weeks ago and i'm starting Session 3. I have already listened to it a couple times because the concept of Self-talk totally makes sence to me, as becasue the fact i ALWAYS talk to myself, due to my history...

Anyway, i hope i can chat with y'all. Thanx.
