Steve,
I too was a die hard PC fan. But like you, LOTS of viruses on the PC. I was working on a PC laptop and it just crawled, too much for all the graphics even with upgraded memory, video cards, etc. I was going to get a laptop, but I really wanted the power that the Mac Pro delivers (and VERY easy to add more, larger memory as it really has lots of room in the cabinet)
Well, if screen size is an issue, I have the 32" cinema screen. I was going to do dual screens, but I just do not have the desk space in my studio. I believe you can hook that 32" screen to the IMac. It works GREAT for detailed Photoshop work.
My degree is in Multi Media and Web Design. (decided to double major since I am on full scholarship!

) I may also lump in Computerized Design certificate since I have completed 2 Photoshop courses, 1 Illustrator course (Illustrator II in the fall) and I would just have to take Layout and InDesign (formerly Quark), so I do not have much to get that one. I am staying away from animation for now, TOO much code. And you?
