Hello,

I thought I might give a few titles of some books that helped me on this journey I started with Panic almost 2 years ago. Maybe they will help someone else.

I noticed that quite a few of you already recommended Battlefield of the Mind. That has helped me alot and still does. Lucinda's "From Panic to Power" was my lifesaver at the beginning.

Along with those two, I read "Streams in the Desert" by L.B. Cowman. This is a great devotional for when you are going thru trials.

For those who like a deeper read- "Spiritual Depression" by Martyn Lloyd Jones. This has helped me alot as far as reminding me to 'preach to myself'. It also reminds me that since I am IN Christ, that I have an advantage. I have the Holy Spirit working in me and Jesus praying for me.

I have also gotten some encouragement from John Piper's "When I Don't Desire God" especially the chapter on "When the Darkness Does Not Lift".
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Jn.14:27

CJR, I also have streams in the desert that I got from my grandmother when she passed on a while ago. Very good choice!
