When I am at work I am always so hyper....I talk alot and act silly a times...I sometimes fell my heart racing and cant calm down...sometimes I think I am manic, however I think that is just a fear I have...I have never been diagnosed as manic, but the hyperness just worries me...Then when I get home I am exhausted. Does anyone experience this.

When I was younger I used to get that way...and it can be frustrating...like you can't make yourself stop!!

Do you listen to the relaxation CDs? If so - I'd keep doing that then then when you are at work visualize and remember the techniques...even if you have to step tothe restroom or something for a few minutes and breathe through those racing thoughts and possibly manic moods.

Hang in there - it will get better!

:)

Blessings,
Dawn

I was also like that when I was younger. Coffee, cigarettes, and too much sugar was a big part of the problem for me. Wish I would have seen that at the time. I thought I had ADD but was told later I didn't and was told to change my diet. I was already exercising like crazy so I thought this was enough. Stopped the coffee and cut way back on sugar and stopped smoking and also took up yoga. Helped a great deal.

OMG this is so me! I'm often flying at times during the day. It's great when you work with kids because they love the energy. And people love to be around me because I'm a ball of energy. But when I get home, I crash hard. I don't get it I exercise daily, don't use caffeine at all, and use sugar substitutes? My doctor says it's because I have too much adrenaline which is probably due to my anxiety. I refuse to take meds though because I was on them for so long and just had no personality. Exercising helps and I have a great hypnosis/relaxation cd that I listen to. Good luck, I feel your pain.

I've experienced this, and still do at times. When I was working, the atmosphere was hurried, and non stop, so in turn I was always on the go and full of adrenelin. I would not feel tired from the long busy day for awhile after I came home, and realized how exhausted I was, then I would just veg. I can be like that depending on the situation, since I had ADHD as a child, and I have ADD now, and only get hyper every once in awhile, it will just come on for whatever reason, especially when I haven't been active on that day etc.... Anyhow, don't worry, one can be hyper, and silly and it doesn't mean they have a problem or anything. I think it's just part of being human. :) Take care!
