Hey people,

I am currently doing week 3 for the third week in a row, haha. It's really tough to keep your mind from wandering back to its old habits, but I'm trying to stick with it.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself on this forum for some peer support and positivity, both of which I am lacking a little bit. I know i know, I'm trying to get better!

I'm currently trying to get out of a rut of negative anxious distracted thinking. It's really hard. It was brought on by the fact that I need to find a new job to stay here in Japan.

Ok, just venting and sharing. If anyone wants to share experiences or parts of their journey here or personally with me please post or pm me! Thanks, Jack

Hey Jack!

It's hard to stick with anything enough to make it a habit, but I find that when I want something bad enough I can find SOME way ;) to make myself do it. In the case o fthis program...it was the pay-off of amazingly feeling and getting better!

I hope you can find that peace and healing as well. These baords are a great place to vent and to find encouragement!

I hope your job search goes well!

Blessings,
Dawn

Hi Jack. Welcome to the Program. I understand how you feel. I started the Program 9 weeks ago and what I find most helpful is realizing that this condition did not happen over night and it's not going to go away over night. We've had lots of time to perfect the habits we're now working to change. Be kind to yourself, forgive yourself and keep working towards your goal. I get ecouragement from the "COMMUNITY" like so many others and its great to connect with others who share your life experiences. I've found it important to remember though that the forum is not the Program. The Program is the Program. If we can acknowledge even a small victory, we're on our way. Be blessed, laura

Hi Jack! I am still on week one but i am excited and hopeful about starting the program. I have seen WONDERFUL reviews on it and a lot of people here swear by it. I'm sure it won't be easy, but we can do anyhting we put our minds to! Best of luck to you!
