Wednesday Prayer Group Restructure

Good Afternoon All,

I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts regarding our wednesday night prayer calls until today. Its heartbreaking to see how pervasive and insidious Satan is in trying to use this powerful tool against us.

My intention of starting the call was for us to have a chance to pray and encourage each other through fellowship. As *D* has aptly put, so many of those who call in aren't very comfortable in praying but through encouragment and uplifting conversation, some are really progressing well and coming out of there shell! Praise be to God

From this point on this is how the call will be restructured:

Call will start at 10pm est. Prayer will begin promptly at 10:10pm until 10:30pm. We will have our fellowhip/uplifting/praise reports time from 10:30 pm until 11pm. For those who are uncomfortable with the "talking" are free to jump off the call at 10:30pm. For the rest of us who enjoy and need the fellowship, please feel free to remain and share anything you'd like that is on your heart. It really blessed me last week just to have a chance after prayer to sit back and chat and share a laugh with you guys, some of us really need this fellowship.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Misty. I have wanted to attend the prayer calls every week and for some reason, I forget just before 10:00. This is a wonderful thing you have started and I am sure the support is incredible. I am going to tape my portable phone to my hand next week so I don't forget to call.

Misty, Thank you for clarifying this. I need prayer and want too pray for others but want to get to know people on here better. I also feel its important to include the quiet ones and try to get them to talk instead of any one person dominating the conversation (that includes me!)

Hey Misty,

Sounds awesome great way to structure the group God has really guided you through this whole thing you are a true blessing Misty. I too would love to here people share there stories as well as I just love the prayer a nice balance is so good. I did feel last week as well some came out of there shells abit with chatting and with prayer (meaning me lol). But I love you all and love to laugh with you all as well. You are a true blessing thank you for doing this for all of us.

Misty I don't understand how the "call" works? I am a newby-I'd love to be able to attend.
And you are sure right about satan being here-he is everywhere tho and we will just have to be strong and not let old you know what bother us. I am trying.

i am sorry that i was not able to be there last week but GOD willing i will be there this wednesday. it means so much to hear others tell their stories and dprayer for each other.take care and be blessed

they have a phone # to call and then put the pass code that is provided and hit the pound key and its all there is too it..hope that you can be there. it is awesome each time i have been involved.

hank you so much for that comment.it made me feel good.i ask GOD to give me the words to say. like i said before ..when it first started i had never prayed for others like we do in there..now i see where it would have been a great help to others but then i was bashful..take care and have a good weekend.GOD BLESS.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I need people to listen to me and I know that others need this as well. I hope that everything is ok with everyone. I haven't been calling lately (the past two times) I have been dealing with major family problems and have needed to be there for those people. I didn't want anyone to think that I haven't called in for any other reason. Just going through alot. God bless you all and I will make time to call in Wed. I am sorry I haven't been a part in the prayer or conversation but i WILL PRAY for anyone that needs it at any time just pm me. Or if you need to I will give you my number on PM and we can talk and or pray on the phone. God bless you all!
