I find it very humerous that anyone would complain about such a posting given the title. If you know that it could be a potential OCD trigger for you, or you know you would be easily offended by some of the postings, why bother opening it and why bother responding? Unless you are looking for an argument? Without even opening it, you know there is going to be someone who shares similar views as Jim, with so many Christians on the forums.
As far as it being an OCD trigger and needing removal based on that. We can not predict what may or may not trigger someones OCD. If I for example read a posting on here about germs and cleaning your house, and it triggered an OCD attack, would it then be grounds for removal? No. If that was the case, we could pick apart every post on here and say it triggered my OCD.
Also, we are taught not to practice avoidance, but rather we need to learn to deal with our anxiety/OCD.
We live in a country that has freedom of speech and there are going to be things said out in the "real world" that maybe similar to what Jim has posted. Can't censor or change others, can only learn to deal with your OCD/anxiety and the way you react.
I am done with this topic, but want to say thanks to Jim for posting this, and thanks to StressCenter.com for allowing it. The spirituality section is always helpful. It is a shame people who disagree can't just move on to another topic.

Jim, Jim, Jim ... where to begin?
Agreed. It could. Except nobody asked so how would we know anyone had an issue with it? You didn't post this with the intention of relieving anxiety. Unless you've gone back and changed it, you never mentioned anxiety or depression in your opening post. Your intentions were to witness, save souls, and arm people with your truth. You said that, not me.This topic could certainly relieve anxiety to one who may have had an issue about it.
Bringing up this subject [unnecessarily] puts ideas in the heads of people with OCD, giving them something new to worry about that they wouldn't have thought to worry about before on their own. And I'm not saying it could do that, it did. So to that I take offense.
Since a topic like this was already closed a while back, let's see if an Admin pops in. There's a reason it was taken down before and the same reason may still apply. If the StressCenter.com thinks it's fine to leave it then I'll back away and tell the person who's OCD was triggered to pull up their boot straps and get over it.
We have a right to our opinions, as you do.
Then why tell me to shut up at the end of your post? Yes, I'm seeing "why respond at all" as "shut up and go away".
